01 / The first minute

They’re on a phone, and they want three answers.

Someone just found droppings in the pantry or a nest by the back door. They search, they tap the first company that looks real, and in about a minute they decide whether to call.

  1. 01

Do you treat what I’m seeing?

The common pests, named, with a way to say “not sure” instead of guessing.

  2. 02

    Will you actually come here?

The towns or counties you cover, written out, and a line telling everyone else to call and ask.

  3. 03

Can I talk to a person?

A phone number that calls with one tap, on every screen.

Answer those three and the site has done its whole job.

02 / The pest control work

Marrone Pest Management, and what’s on it.

Fairfield, New Jersey. Veteran-owned and family-operated, in Northern and Central New Jersey for fifty years.

The Marrone Pest Management home page: a pest control website for a family-operated New Jersey company
  • The first screen leads with what makes them different, in their own words: veteran-owned, family-operated, guaranteed results.

  • Right under it, a row of the pests people call about. Tap one to read about it. Tap “Not sure?” and you’re one step from a person who will figure it out.

  • The guarantee is on the page, by pest. If a treated pest comes back inside its window, they come back free, and the site shows how long each window runs.

  • Commercial accounts get their own page: the kinds of buildings they work in, and their School IPM certification.

  • The counties they cover are named, and the list ends with “Not on the list? Call and ask.”

  • The contact page opens with “Call and a live person answers,” and the form asks what you’re seeing, so the callback starts with the answer.

  • Their Google reviews show on the home page, straight from Google.

“TJ’s been our guy from the start. Built our first site, rebuilt it cleaner a while back, and keeps it running. When something needs changing I text him and it changes, same day. That’s not normal.”

03 / Pricing

$750 to launch.
$49 a month.

$750 to build it. Half up front, $375. Half at launch, $375. That’s the whole build cost. You fill out one sheet and send me photos; I write it and build it. Up to 6 pages; past that it’s $75 each.

$49 a month after that, or $539 for the year, which is one month free. Fall mice season, a new guarantee, another town on your list: each one is a text, live within one business day.

Cancel whenever. No early-cancel fees, no contracts to break. Your site stays live for 30 days after you cancel, and if you’d rather host it somewhere else I send you the files.

When someone near you searches “pest control near me,” Google shows a map with three companies first. Local, $199 a month with Care included, keeps your Google listing complete and current and answers every review, which gives you a real shot at it. Growth, $349 a month, adds a new page each month for the pests and towns you want more calls for, and a monthly report of what I did. How the Google plans work →

04

What pest control owners ask me first.

  • Should I list every pest I treat?
List the ones people call about most, and end the list with a line for everything else: not sure what it is, or don’t see it, call. A visitor who doesn’t find their pest shouldn’t decide you don’t treat it.
  • Can the site show my guarantee?
Yes, and close to the top. If it depends on the pest, the page can say how long each one runs, the way Marrone’s does.
  • I do commercial work too. Does that need its own page?
Usually, yes. A facilities manager is asking about schedules, certifications and the kind of building, not about ants in a kitchen. One page for them keeps both visitors out of each other’s questions.
  • I already have a website. It’s just old.
Then we might not start over. Sometimes a redesign is cheaper and faster than a rebuild. We’ll go through what’s worth keeping on the first call.

Call me when you get a minute

Twenty minutes, no pressure. Tell me what you treat, where you go, and what isn’t working with the site you have now. If it’s a fit, we keep going. If it isn’t, you’ll leave with a pointer or two.
